Terms and Conditions

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before purchasing from us or signing up. These terms and conditions apply to the use of the website and our social media pages. By accessing these you agree to be bound by our terms and conditions. 

The charity is run entirely by volunteers and ‘working days and hours’ excludes bank holidays, weekends and public holidays such as Christmas.

Intellectual Property Rights

Pyjama Fairies own the copyright, trademarks and other intellectual property rights of all material and content on the charity website. Any reproduction of the material or content is strictly prohibited. Please see our Privacy Policy and GDPR policies for details of our compliance.

When ordering you will need to provide us with personal information. Please see our Privacy Policy available HERE for how we use this data.

Should you have any complaints, please send them to the details indicated at the end of this document. These terms and conditions apply to all transactions on the website. They do not affect your statutory rights.

Hospital Garment Orders & Shop Orders

Please ensure your order in ample time.

When ordering with Pyjama Fairies you will be sent an order confirmation email detailing your order and costs. It’s important to note that this acknowledgement doesn’t signify acceptance of your order. Rather, your order serves as an offer to purchase products from us under the terms outlined. Please check your order this will give you the opportunity to correct any possible errors.

Our acceptance of your order occurs upon dispatch, marking the establishment of a legally binding contract between us, governed by these terms. You will receive a shipping confirmation email notifying you of the dispatch of your order

If your order cannot be accepted, perhaps due to reasons such as unsuccessful pre-authorisation of payment, product unavailability, Hospital Garment for aged order 16, residing outside of the UK, or discrepancies in pricing or product description, we will promptly notify you via email using the information you provided during the order placement. Please note, that we reserve the right to decline any order at our discretion.

For the first Hospital Garment orders made, we ask for a small donation to cover postage and packaging costs. Each order can consist of two items- pyjamas and a hospital gown. You can also choose 2 of the same item just let us know at the point of ordering. Additional orders can be made for a further donation.

We also supply adapted garments please state any special requirements or adaptations on the order form. This can also include ideas for colours or designs on the fabric. Please note that we do not guarantee any fabric requests and we do use stereotypical choices. All of our sewers are volunteers who purchase the fabrics and supplies themselves. Each order is also supplied with a postcard featuring our safety notice and a poem under your fairies name.

Adjustment or Changed to Your Order

If you find the need to modify your order after submission, please don’t hesitate to contact us as soon as possible. We’ll swiftly assess the feasibility of any required changes and inform you promptly.

Availability

Please note that all orders depend on availability. We cannot assure the constant availability of any product. Under certain circumstances beyond our control, such as legal changes, we may need to discontinue the sale of certain products. If this affects your order, we’ll inform you via email, cancel your order, and issue a full refund, including delivery costs if payment has been processed.

Product Descriptions

Explore detailed descriptions of our products featured on our website. Kindly review these descriptions attentively. Please note that the images displayed on our site serve as illustrations and may not precisely reflect the appearance of the actual products or their packaging. Variations in colours are also possible; the colours portrayed on your device might differ slightly from the actual product due to device settings and display differences.

Prices and Payment Methods

Our product prices are clearly listed on our website, all denoted in pounds sterling (£) (GBP) and inclusive of VAT at the prevailing rate, with the exception of delivery charges. Prices for both our products and delivery services are subject to change at any time. However, any alterations will not impact existing orders, unless outlined otherwise below.

In the event of a pricing discrepancy on our website affecting your order, we will make every effort to reach you using the contact information provided during your purchase. You will then have the choice to confirm your order at the accurate price or cancel it. Should we be unable to connect with you, we will assume cancellation and notify you accordingly via email.

We proudly welcome a variety of payment methods at our shop, including major credit cards and debit cards such as Amex, Discover, Mastercard, Visa, and Maestro. Additionally, for your convenience, we gladly accept digital payment options like PayPal, Google Pay, and Apple Pay.

Please note that all credit card and debit card transactions require authorization from the respective card issuer.

In the event of an unsuccessful payment, rest assured that we’ll make every effort to reach you using the contact information you provided at the time of purchase. If we’re unable to connect with you, we’ll regrettably have to cancel your order, but we’ll promptly notify you via email.

Hospital Garment Orders and Shop Orders Shipping

All of our volunteers will ship your items by Royal Mail or Courier in a waterproof packing. Each parcel will have the head office return address on the back. 

Standard orders – Please order in plenty of time prior to the date you require the items. If you have not received your order within 5-7 days prior to your required date please contact as soon as possible with your order number. We can then identify the order and tracking details on your behalf. 

Emergency orders – if you require an urgent order we aim to post the same day or the following from our emergency stock, we cannot take any requests for particular designs as we do have limited availability. 

Delivery Options

Information on Shipping options and costs are available on our website during checkout. Upon placing your order, you’ll have a selection of delivery options tailored to your needs. Please note, we exclusively deliver within the UK.

Rest assured, your order will arrive on the chosen delivery date or within the specified delivery period based on your chosen option during checkout. While we provide estimated delivery dates throughout the ordering process and in confirmation emails, they are subject to change unless a specific date has been agreed upon.

We strive to deliver your order promptly within the agreed timeframe. However, if circumstances beyond our control cause delays such as severe weather or unexpected traffic, we’ll promptly notify you via email. Please understand that we cannot be held liable for any resulting losses.

Delivery  Location

Your order will be promptly delivered to the address you specified during checkout. Upon receipt, we kindly ask you to inspect the items without delay and inform us promptly of any faults or damages.

Upon delivery to your address or as per your specified instructions, the responsibility for the products transfers to you, marking them officially ‘delivered.’ Consequently, you assume responsibility for the items, and we are not accountable for any theft or damage post-delivery. However, this does not negate your legal entitlements in cases of product defects or misrepresentation. Ownership of the products becomes yours upon full payment
